About Us

Mold help that feels like a chat with a neighbor.

Mold is stressful. Whether it is a spot you noticed in the basement, a musty smell that will not go away, or something a home inspector flagged, it is the kind of thing that keeps you up at night. We get it.

That is why we approach every Lansing home the same way we would approach our own: take a careful look, explain what we see in plain language, and walk you through your options without pressure. No jargon, no scare tactics, just honest, friendly help from people who live and work in mid-Michigan.

From bungalows in REO Town to ranch homes in Delta Township, we have seen the moisture and mold patterns that come with Michigan's humid summers and snowy winters. We know how to help.

Your Lansing Mold Team
What We Do

Everything you need to put a mold problem behind you.

Different mold issues call for different approaches. Here is the full range of what we help Lansing homeowners with. Pick what fits, or just call and we will figure it out together.

Mold Inspection

A careful walkthrough with moisture meters and visual checks to find where mold is hiding, including behind walls, under floors, and in crawl spaces.

Air Quality Testing

Indoor air sampling helps identify spore counts and species when you can smell something but cannot find the source.

Safe Mold Removal

Proper containment, HEPA filtration, and careful removal of affected materials without spreading the problem around your home.

Moisture Solutions

Mold comes back when moisture sticks around. We track down leaks, condensation, and ventilation problems.

Basement & Crawl Space

Lansing basements and crawl spaces take a beating from humidity. We treat affected areas and improve the conditions that let mold thrive.

Attic Mold Treatment

Attic mold is usually a ventilation story. We address what is growing and help fix the airflow issues behind it.

How We Help

Every mold job is different, so we keep the plan flexible and clear.

We do not force your home into a rigid checklist. We listen first, inspect carefully, explain what we find, and recommend the right next step for your situation.

Listen first

Tell us what you are seeing, smelling, or worried about. We will ask practical questions and help you make sense of it.

Inspect carefully

We look for moisture sources, visible growth, affected materials, and the conditions that let mold keep coming back.

Explain options

You get plain-English guidance, not scare tactics. We will tell you what matters, what can wait, and what should be handled.

Handle the plan

When remediation is needed, we tailor containment, removal, cleaning, and verification to the actual scope of the home.

Good Questions

You've probably got a few of these.

How can I tell if what I am seeing is actually mold?
Common signs are dark spots, a musty odor that lingers, water stains, or allergy-type symptoms when you are home. But spots can also be stains, soot, or efflorescence. Inspection is the best first step.
Why does Michigan have such mold issues?
Humid summers, snowmelt, basement condensation, ice damming, and the freeze-thaw cycle all create moisture conditions mold likes. Older Lansing homes are especially prone to it.
Can I just clean it myself with bleach?
For very small surface mold on non-porous surfaces, DIY cleaning is sometimes fine. Larger areas or porous materials need proper containment and professional remediation.
How long does mold remediation take?
It depends on the scope. A small bathroom issue may be quick. A basement, attic, or crawl-space project can take several days. We give you a realistic timeline after we see what is going on.
Do I need to leave my house during the work?
Usually no. We set up containment to isolate the work area. For very large jobs or work involving HVAC, we may recommend temporary relocation.
Will my insurance cover this?
It depends on your policy and what caused the mold. Mold from a sudden covered event may be covered, while long-term moisture issues often are not. We can provide documentation when applicable.

Got a mold worry? Let's talk it through.

Picking up the phone is the easiest first step. We will listen, ask a few questions, and help you figure out what to do next.
